If you watch any TV, especially in the early morning or late night, you’ll likely see commercials with attorneys talking about Workers Compensation and encouraging viewers to call them if they were injured on the job. My kids laugh at me because I can recite the closing slogan for all of them.

My kids thought workers’ compensation was what workers earned, their pay. Workers’ compensation. I guess I can see that. But that’s not exactly what it is.

So, what exactly is Workers Compensation and what are the Benefits?

Workers’ compensation, often referred to as workers’ comp, is a form of insurance that provides wage replacement and medical benefits to employees who suffer job-related injuries or illnesses.
